Job Title: Account Executive - Federal Sales
Position Summary:
This position is with the prestigious Jane’s Information Group, an IHS company. Jane’s is a 106-year-old defense, aerospace, transportation and security information collection and analysis firm. We are looking for an experienced account management professional who has a proven track record of excellence in working with large Government customers, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while increasing revenue through new business opportunities and the cross-sale of additional products and services through the customer lifecycle. The Account Executive will be responsible for the management of existing accounts as well as the establishment of new customers.

General Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the account relationship with government and accounts, facilitate new sales and account development that benefit the both the customer and Jane’s. Effectively manage the accounts while implementing strategies and account plans for increased penetration and new business. Maintain & increase knowledge of Jane’s product line and market competition. Providing feedback to product development teams and executive management as necessary. Lead efforts in maximizing the efficiency and utilization of the prospect database Work effectively in a complex organization. Working in an entrepreneurial manner while maintaining the ability to work in a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills & communications skills are critical to success in this position. Key Tasks/Goals: Primary goal will be revenue based. Overall goals are to manage and upsell existing account base while identifying and closing any and all new business within the territory.
